During Wizard World Chicago 2005, Mike Oeming shared with DavidMackGuide.com that David Mack will appear in the Marvel mini-series Ares, which will launch in January according to Marvel.com. When asked about Mr. Mack's role in the story, series writer Mike Oeming explained, "He plays...a Detective; he'll be in issue 2 and we'll see him for several pages!" |
Tori Amos 2006 Cover Sold at RAINN Charity Auction |

According to Lisa Ray, who is the director of the Tori Tribute show, David Mack's painting for the 2006 Tori Amos Calendar was purchased at the reserve price of $450 by Patrick, who was a friend of Mike Amos, Tori Amos's late brother and to whom this year's show was dedicated. Funds from the auction as well as upcoming eBay auctions, which will be announced at ToriTribute.com, will be donated to RAINN. |

Thanks to Steve Antczak, who is the President of Visible Light Entertainment, for reporting that Beowulf the Legend, a four-issue miniseries created with Shooting Star Comics that will feature artwork by Andy Lee, will will debut at the New York Comic Con (February 24-26). Also, Andy Lee has completed all of the artwork for the 32-page four-issue of the series, which will not be published through Speakeasy Comics as previously reported. Andy Lee will also paint the follow-up limited series, Beowulf: Usurper!, which is slated for release in 2006.
