Spider-Woman Story by Bendis and Mays
According to ToyNewsI.com, Giant-Size Spider-Woman #1, which is scheduled to debut in July from Marvel Comics, will include an eight-page story by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Rick Mays. When asked by Newsarana.com if Marvel approached him with the idea of a Spider-Woman comic or if he pitched the story to the company, Mr. Bendis stated:
	Oh yeah, Marvel came at me guns a blazin’. They know exactly how to hit my geek buttons. My first book at Marvel in ‘94 or ‘95 or so was to be a Spider-Woman series with art by Rick Mays. They offered me and Rick this little chance to relive what almost was. I couldn't say no.
