Some say there is a very fine line between genius and insanity. I’m not sure there is any line at all.

Possible Kabuki: The Alchemy #4 Release Date
According to Marvel.com, Kabuki: The Alchemy #4 is currently scheduled to be released on March 30.

Kabuki in St. Pölten Exhibition
Thanks to Bertram Schuetz for reporting that the Helden ("Heroes") exhibition, which will be open from May 4 to November 1 in St. Pölten, Austria, will feature original Kabuki artwork as an example of the newest type of heroine in the section "Comic Heroes in Change."

The show will include art from the collection of Christian Stoklas, who owns all of the pages from Kabuki: Metamorphosis #9 according to David Mack.

For more information about the exhibition, please visit Noe-Landesausstellung.at.

Possible Toronto Con Appearance & Customs Woes
When asked if he will attend any conventions in Toronto, David Mack stated:
Since Bendis is going to the Paradise Comics show this year, there is a good chance I will try to make it.

I think Andy Lee always does this show, too, and I've been asked to do it for the last several years and was always too busy. But Peter Dixon and Paradise seem nice and I've told him I'd try to in the future.

So hopefully this year.

So I'm going to try to do it.

The main reason for me to not try it is that customs was such a pain last time. They held us up for over 2 hours and I had to show them each and every one of my Kabuki comics for them to decide if it was pornography or not and all kinds of stuff like that.

I had to go to a few different places and show the comics over and over and they kept searching our vehicle.

In 2003, I went to Toronto twice, and no problem, but last time they gave me a big hassle about bringing books into the country to the show.

And they threatened to confiscate all my books and art that I was bringing.

And then they wanted to tax me on every piece of art I brought whether I sold it or not. So I was considering not going anymore.

Any suggestions?

I do take photos of my work sometimes.

Ocassionally, I have taken photos of the work in the process so I can put the photos of the stages of the work in the upcoming art book.
