WizardUniverse.com Hot Topic of the Week
The Hot Topic of the Week editor at WizardUniverse.com asked: "Is Powers and Kabuki's shift to Marvel a great boost to the books or a wrong move?"

David Mack Mention at Comicon.com
Per Comicon.com:
THE PULSE: Marvel announced that Brian Michael Bendis, Michael Avon Oeming and David Mack were taking their properties Powers and Kabuki from Image and publishing them under the new Marvel imprint Icon. How does this affect Image?

LARSEN: Well - it means we won’t be publishing new Kabuki or Powers comics. Other than that things are about the same. Mike Oeming is still doing some projects with Image--just not Powers. He has an original graphic novel scheduled for August called Six and it's a doozie.

THE PULSE: To your knowledge how is the Marvel deal with those creators different from what each was getting at Image?

LARSEN: I have no idea what the Icon deal is. When I talked to David and Brian they made it sound as though it was a similar deal.
