David Mack Mentioned in Spider-Woman #1 Review |
From ComicBookResources.com's review of Spider-Woman #1: |
Alex Maleev's evocative artwork is reminiscent of a more linear David Mack, with painted artwork and photorealism to die for. Brian Michael Bendis' savvy script incorporates everything you'd ever need to know about the character in just two pages, and so delicately draws the reader into the story and delivers on every level. Nicely done all around. |

Brian Michael Bendis was interviewed on FanboyRadio.com and ComicsContinuum.com posted the following solicitation for God Complex #1: |
Written by Michael Avon Oeming and Daniel Berman, art by John Broglia, cover by Oeming.
Meet Paul, he's an everyday kind of guy. He's kinda tall, kinda strong and kinda not mortal at all. Paul is actually Apollo (no, really) in hiding... from his family... the ancient Greek gods. Paul's father (you know, Zeus) would rather see Paul dead than living as a mortal... So, for Paul, being a god is complex... and dangerous...
32 pages, $2.99, in stores on Dec. 2. |
Also, Mr. Oeming posted artwork from Powers as well as a sketch of writer Paul Jenkins. |
