	Kabuki was my nose-dive into the graphic novel medium. I read the single issues that are currently on the shelves, and loved them. I wanted to know more. "Circle of Blood" is the first graphic novel of the Kabuki series. Though it was written 13 years ago, I haven't seen other graphic novels that attempt to use, transform and celebrate the medium as much as this book.
Also, the site posted a podcast (47.75 mb - 5m:15s to 33m:08s) about the first volume of Kabuki.
