I heal animals. Animals heal humans. Through pets, people learn to respect and care for another living creature. Then they can apply that to other people and living things in general.

WizardUniverse.com posted a photo of David Mack at the New York Comic-Con.

David Mack Introduces Nico
When asked about the cat who appeared in the recently released The Shy Creatures trailer, David Mack replied:
That cat is Nico. I just ate some yogurt and he is licking the container. Everytime I eat, he patiently sits and watches me and then eats the leftovers or licks the plate when I'm done. This cat eats everything.

He has a lot of personality. He follows me everywhere I go, and sits on my lap when I draw, and he even plays fetch. Any time I throw something, he will run like it's really important and bring it back for me to do again.

Thoughts on New York Comic-Con 2008
From David Mack:
I'll be happy to do a sketch in the new hardcover at Chicago. Looking forward to the big BenBo board mayhem in Chicago again. And really happy to finally have The Alchemy collected.

By the way, it was great to see so many from the board here in NYC this past weekend. The show was great. Very busy, but better organized than the last two years with larger room so it wasn't so cramped. And the people at the show were just great and very nice. A pleasure to see so many of you there.

I'll see some of you in Pittsburgh next week and then CAPE in Dallas.

MOBA News Bytes
From WizardUniverse.com's interview with Brian Michael Bendis:
It was actually the same time I had met all of my Caliber buddies which were David Mack, Mike Oeming, Marc Andreyko and Ed Brubaker. I was just trying to find my voice as a comic book creator which should have involved less drawing, but I didn’t find that out for 10 years.
Also, ComicReaders.com selected Mice Templar #4, which features a story co-created and artwork by Mike Oeming and will be released tomorrow at a comic book store near you, as this week's Recommended Pick.
