Alias #10 Spotlighted at Wizard Universe
From WizardUniverse.com's list of Top 100 Single Issues of All Time, which was printed in Wizard #175:
#99 - Alias #10 (2002): Brian Michael Bendis earned his rep working outside the box, and in this ish, he breaks away from word balloons to craft all the issue’s dialogue in movie script format. With great pacing and hilarious one-liners, it’s surprisingly effective over Michael Gaydos’ art, which details J. Jonah Jameson’s scheme to hire burnt-out ex-superhero Jessica Jones to investigate Spider-Man’s secret identity. Surprisingly, the private detective accepts the assignment, but that’s where the twist comes in: She and reporter Ben Urich pull a double-cross that nearly gives the newspaper man a heart attack-and all on his dime. Stop the presses; this ish is a gem.
