"...this hyperactive kid named David Mack..."
David Mack was mentioned several times during HypeThis.com's interview with Brian Michael Benids. Below is an excerpt from the interview, which was conducted by William M. S. Baker:
I've known Bendis for almost 10 years now. I first met him at one of the Motor City Cons during the halcyon days of Caliber Press. He'd just released the first issue of Goldfish, and he still had a full head of hair. [Yeah, it was that long ago. And, yeah, it does sometimes seem like a lifetime ago.]

Soon afterward, I found myself sitting at a table with the whole sick Caliber Crew: Brian, Vince Locke, Guy Davis, and few other worthies who'd all begun their publishing at that small company, including this hyperactive kid named David Mack, who had just released his own little black and white comic called Kabuki and who, at the urging of Bendis and company, repeatedly leaped over empty tables and other obstacles.
