David Mack Donates Kabuki Comic Books
From SequentialTart.com:
A majority of those who visited the booth weren't familiar with Sequential Tart nor did they know about the outreach program. It was so much fun watching the disbelief on people's faces when I told them that, yes, the comics really are free. Some felt guilty walking away with a beautiful copy of Kabuki (of which David Mack donated plenty), however, no one turned down a recommended reading list. Nearly every visitor commented on the genius of what we were doing. Some realized the larger motive of drawing in new fans to help bolster a slowly dwindling industry, but most were impressed with our vast rainbow of genres and choices - so many new things to try - and appreciated our efforts to broaden their horizons.
