My space....
FRI, 8/1/03, 7:04
p.m.- In Response To: David Mack's a clean freak? Who knew? (Micah Branstetter)
Just
had to say I was really impressed with the nice, tidy, organized work area
David keeps that was on his Daredevil DVD interview. No clutter anywhere...everything
in it's place....Just messin' with ya Dave. If that room is in any way
responsible for your work up to this point, I say NEVER clean it up!
Well I try to keep
the space versatile. So After I finish one project, I put things away,
and then I scatter all my new materials all alround in preperation for
the new project. And then things get very layered for a while until I complete
that project. Then I put those layers away, and set things up for the next
thing.
Luckily I knew
when they were coming to film, so I had a chance to clear things from the
floor for them to have room to set up their camera and lights and have
a place to walk thru and move around with out stepping on my drawings

p.m. - In Response To: DD thread art (awlrite4now)
Wow! These are
great! I love how on the "fly away" piece, that the boy is just an outline.
It is a great contrast to the detail in the other figure(DD). That was a great choice. These are very impressive. I makes me think how cool it would be to do a comic with each of the panels done in thread and cloth.
I'm really looking
forward to your package. Thanks for thinking of me!
I was glad to see
these on the DD website (manwithoutfear.com). I think people really like to see your art. I also have a messageboard at joequesada.com. My board
on his site is called House of Mack. I'm sure readers there would also
like to see a link to your art.
Thank you!
David
David,
there will be a package coming your way with my cover of your cover art.
Guess that's what you would call doing a version of someone else's art? Like when you record someone else's song? There is a photo on my album page, picture #11, but it looks a lot better
in person. Thanks for letting me reproduce this in thread. It was very cathartic
for me during a rough time. Enjoy.
Alice
