Kabuki plays are almost entirely about ghosts... The drama’s form, nearly invariable, has the ghost disguises as human in the first half of the play, the latter half being devoted to its recognition and subsequent exorcism.

Kabuki
2005-03-12, 05:15

Thanks for asking about Kabuki.

I HIGHLY recommend it.

Thanks for posting NohTV.com and Davidmackguide.com.
The guide run by David Thornton is the most extensive site I have ever seen of my work.
He updates it daily with news and has archived every kind of information you could be looking for about Kabuki.

Davidmack.net also has info and a synopsis of what each Kabuki volume is about.
There will be a new updated and animated version of davidmack.net online very soon with more artwork as well.

Thanks for discussing my book.
I only know of this site because I saw it on davidmackguide.com today. :)

Kindest regards,
David Mack

Hello from David Mack
2005-03-12, 05:24

Hey all!

And hello Frow!

I apologize for Anh not returning the e-mails. I think she has fallen behind recently. I didn't even know about this.

I remember you, and I assure you that you did not come off as a creepy fan.
In fact, I think I still owe you a Scarab sketch.

Please continue to e-mail Anh and I also will bring this to her attention.
We do have all of the masks, and I'm sure she will be able to arrange to sell you the masks you are missing, and I'll sign them, and we'll include the sketch also.

I think she has been busy with her Tranimals work, and hasn't been able to keep up with the Kabuki mail as much lately, but I'll make sure to mention this to her.

Everyone else who wants to buy any other books, please continue to e-mail her at and CC her at to make sure she sees it.

Thanks,
and Kindest regards!

David Mack
