Soon I became a hunter/killer of poultry, able to catch, kill, pluck, cut and dress the chicken in the darkest of night. Although it took me a bit longer to perfect the cooking spices.

Nov 18, 2004 9:34 am

The Scarab and Akemi figures are now available in all comic shops and still available for re-order.

check out davidmackguide.com for lots of details and photos.

I'll also have them with me at the Mid-Ohio Con next week.

And Kabuki: The Alchemy #3 is going to kick your ass!

So taki soma is in it?
She is all over it!
Whoever can spot her in the book first is the winner.
And as a grand prize she will kick your ass in person.

Also, if you like Chupacabras, Bigfoot, aliens, and Tai Somas, you will really like Kabuki #3.
That's all I'm saying.

I'm hoping I can track one of those figures down at the National in NY this weekend. It looks really nice.

If you can't find it there, check davidmackguide.com.

He has lists of all the stores that are selling them for the best prices, online, etc.

How many of you will I be seeing at Mid-Ohio con next week?

I heard Taki Soma is going.

I'll be sitting next to Mike Oeming and Andy Lee.
Not just at the hotel hot tub in the evening, but at the convention too.

Well, bring your swimsuit.

We always have our MOB meetings in the hotel hot tub
And there is a great swimming pool there too.

The Loch Ness Monster is also in the issue. As well as many other fabled creatures. And blurry photos. You can choose which one you are.

This is all true.  You'll see!
But please, keep it a secret

Is this the one where me and Akemi do the lovielovie? Well, you can tell her I'm off the market. That's right I'm married. To someone else. Good-bye Akemi. Sorry for ruining Kabuki.
Congratulations

Yeah the etched glasses are actually very cool. The guy etched them and showed them to me at a con and I was pretty impressed, so I gave the OK on it. He also made a set of 3 MOB glasses with Mack, Oeming, and Bendis on each different one.

And he had made a set for me and Anh with drawings I had done of each of us on our respective named glasses.

And he did an amazing shot glass set.
I never would have thought of it, But once he showed me I was very impressed with his work.

He does this on a regulare basis for glasses custom made for bands. So he has his own fans of it who will be looking forward to it.
And like Thornton said, only 101 sets made.
