Really? I loved Spider. It was excellent. I love all of Cronenberg's
films. And Spider was a great new step in his filmography. Great concept.
Sophisticated execution.
In fact, when my friend watched it, he had a moment just like Spider
did in the film. He had a sudden realization that certain memories and
photos from his childhood added up to a new truth about his family that
he hadn't realized before.

Re: Post here if you got your name in a Bendis comic!

To Andrew Jackson,
I mentioned your name in DD #52
I'm honored to beDetective David Mack in Powers!
And my girlfriend Anh Tran is Bendis' inspiration for Tran in Daredevil: NINJA.
She is also captain Anh Tran in the new Terminator series from Beckett, written by Ivan Brandon.
Oeming said she was also his inspiration for the girl in Bastard Samurai.
The original scripts of it he showed me named that girl as Anh Tran.
And she wrote Parker's chemistry class scenes in Ultimate Spiderman,
and in the first MTV Spiderman animated series (She was a chemical engineer
when I met her).
And of course there is CTH in our Cthulu.
And Susie Owens in our Flaxen!

Re: Hey MACK! I just read EDGE
Feb 15, 2004 11:34 am
Thanks a lot for mentioning it.
I'm really looking forward to the feedback from it when I get the entire
thing published.
I'm doing the new Kabuki series now, which will probably go for more than 6 issues. Maybe even 8 or more. And then this autobiographical SELF PORTRAIT story will be my next art project right after the current Kabuki story.
I'm very Psyched about it. It is a very natural and spontaneous way
for me to work.
And that entire issue of Edge is very cool.
Best,
David
