Northern Kentucky University Dragon

Notes:
· In order to help raise funds for the Northern Kentucky University Alumni scholarship fund, David Mack joined students, staff members and friends of the college by painting statues of NKU's mascot, a dragon
· According to the TheNortherner.com, David Mack's dragon, which he called "Shape of Guernica," along with the others were on display at the Newport on the Levee mall from September 25-26, 2004
· The statue was sold at an auction on November 11, 2004 according to Terri Schierberg, who is the Assistant Director of NKU Alumni Affairs
· The painting on David Mack's dragon is based on Pablo Picasso's Guernica; for more information about the painting, please visit AestheticRealism.org, MSN.com and Web.org.uk
· Images of the other NKU dragons are available at NKU.edu
