From ToyMania.com (February 6, 2002):
Beginning in May 2002, Moore Creations, Inc. is launching a new line of resin busts based on David Mack's award winning Kabuki Comic. Each fully-painted bust in the projected series will be sculpted in 1/6 scale for a more substantial visual appeal.

Said Clayburn Moore, President of Moore Creations, "David Mack's designs for these busts are absolutely stunning, so we felt that a larger format for this series was the only way to do them justice."

The first of the series, the Kabuki Bust, will be released in May, followed up three months later, in August, by the second bust of the series. Each piece will be released in three-month increments at an affordable retail price of $45.00.

Previously released by Moore Creations, the statue and Mask series based on this former NOH operative were big hits with Kabuki fans.
