"Daredevil" illustrator David Mack is nothing if not a celeb in the world of comic books. The Northern Kentucky artist also is known for "Kabuki: the Alchemy," an enigmatic and very adult comic that has been nominated for all kinds of awards and now is about to have an unlikely spin-off: a children's picture book. "The Shy Creatures" will be out in September and is one of the debut titles from Holtzbrinck Publishing's new children's imprint Feiwel & Friends.
