Gaydos Cover Not on Kabuki: The Alchemy #9
Thanks to MailOrderComics.com President Michael Robinson for confirming that the Michael Gaydos alternate cover that appeared in the solicitation for Kabuki: The Alchemy #9 is not scheduled for publication. "Things got changed at the last second by Marvel," he noted. "The Allred cover is still active, along with the regular cover, both having order form lines." Also, David Mack recently explained:
Sorry for the confusion.

There was originally intended to be a Gaydos variant, but Marvel and Diamond said they couldn't make it work to order 2 variants independently in any amount.

So the only variant is the Mike Allred cover.

With me doing the regular cover.

I do love that Gaydos painting though, and plan to get it out there in the future next chance I get.
