Work and Convention Schedule
David Mack recently announced: "I'm sending Kabuki #8 off right now, and then will go right into writing some Marvel stuff before jumping into the next Kabuki, and probably doing some covers too." Mr. Mack later added: "I'm psyched for NYC. I haven't done a con since Sept. and this is the longest I've went between cons for over a decade. Really looking forward to it."

Se7en: Envy #6 Cover and Press Release
Below is the press release for Se7en: Envy #6:
David Mack, creator of Kabuki and writer of the Eisner nominated run on Marvel's Daredevil, has penned the sixth installment of Zenescope Entertainment's Se7en. The series focuses on the back-story of John Doe, the villain played by Kevin Spacey in the New Line Cinema film. Each issue in the series tackles one of the seven deadly sins, with David Mack fielding Envy.

"Writing from the POV of a psychopath came incredibly natural to me," says Mack. Artist "Leif Jones, who I've been meaning to work with for 10 years," brings his unique skills to the table for the penultimate chapter.

Se7en #6 is in January Previews now. Fans and retailers are urged to use Diamond Code JAN07 3981 when placing their orders.

David Mack is listed in Wizard Magazine's list of Top Ten Writers. Articles about his work have appeared in The Washington Times, SPIN, Carpe Noctem, Sketch Magazine, Hobby Japan, Tokyo Pop, Cincinnati Magazine, Giant Robot, Urb, Soma, CMJ New Music Monthly and others around the world. His books have been the subject of undergraduate and graduate university courses in Art and Literature as well as listed as required reading for classes. His work has been studied in graduate seminars at USC and hung in the Los Angeles Museum of Art.

David Mack: All the behind the scenes stuff that no one will ever know.

HM: What will be the biggest story in comics in 2007?
DM: I’m putting something in the ink of my books that will make you smarter when you read them.

HM: What guilty pleasure (of any kind) are you looking forward to in 2007?
DM: That’s between me and my girlfriend! But it’s good. Real good.

David Mack Credited as Creator of Echo
When asked if he was credited with the creation of Echo by HiddenRobot.com webmaster Tim Daniel, David Mack replied: "Yeah.
