I can tell that you have hurt people. When you spend all your time putting creatures back together, you can tell when someone else has done a lot of taking them apart. -- Kabuki: The Alchemy #2
David Mack, the creative mind behind the Kabuki series, brings us the first part of a storyline called Echo. While Mack’s style might not be everyone’s cup of tea, we found this fully-painted tale of a woman tortured by her past, where she was linked to Daredevil and her father to Kingpin, both poignant and hauntingly beautiful.
Brian Michael Bendis talked about how David Mack introduced Joe Quesada to his work during a Comixtreme.com interview, which includes covers from Alias.
