The mannequins remind me of all the statues Iíve seen in museums missing their arms and heads. I think of the Venus De Milo. Perfect woman of her era. Goddess of love and beauty. Now she has no arms. -- Kabuki: Metamorphosis #2

WED, 6/16/04, 12:11 a.m. - In Response To: how many issues will Kabuki The Alchemy be? (Tony Solomun)

anyway,no matter how many issues i as always eagerly look forward to it,
Thanks, Tony!
Anh says she sent your order for the Ghost Play. You should get it soon.
The Alchemy will be at least 8 issues. Maybe as many as 10 or 12.
And I'll definitely do more art books

Re: Hi Arie
WED, 6/16/04, 12:13 a.m. - In Response To: Hi Arie (Tony Solomun)
are you the same Arie from the kabuki letters pages, anyway how is Holland,

they just drew with Germany 1-1 in euro 2004,

when did you start reading Kabuki,

Hi Tony,
He is the same Arie that you've seen in the letter's collumn.
I met him in person at a signing in Holland. And also at signings in Germany and France.

Re: Dead Man, Jarmusch film
THU, 6/17/04, 4:04 a.m. - In Response To: Dead Man, Jarmusch film (Hermes in tin foil)
anyone seen this?
It reminds me of Echo and in general an another inspired person from Ohio. **X*O** Just delicious! I saw Jarmusch walking down my street and I tried to run and hide. Some people are too hip!
I love this film. I like all of his films, but this one has always been my favorite by far. I remember that I was watching it when I was painting Skin Deep #3.

Re: Graphic Novel question
THU, 6/17/04, 9:42 p.m. - In Response To: Graphic Novel question (snapdragon)
Do the graphic novels collect every single issue of Kabuki,(not including variants, etc)or do they just compile some of the most popular stories?

What I'm trying to say is, if you have all 6 of the graphic novels (tpbs) does that also mean you have every issue of Kabuki? I know circle of Blood has "fear the reaper" and the complete "circle of blood" story, but what about the other books? Thanks!

Hi Snap,
If you have all 6 volumes you have every single issue... except a one issue oneshot called Dance of Death that is reprinted in KABUKI Classics #2.
You don't need that issue to understand or follow any of the other stories. But if you want it you can still find it in that reprint of Classics #2.

Have you read all 6 volumes yet?
Let me know what you think

Hey BOOM....
THU, 6/17/04, 9:46 p.m. - In Response To: Re: Question for Mr. Mack (snapdragon)
ok. thank you. I had heard that his daredevil work wasn't done yet. I don't like daredevil anyway so I couldn't know. Also, do you have any information on the new Marvel Kabuki series? Thanks......
Can you please post your link here to your site that has compiled a lot of my recent interviews, including the interviews that cover the new Alchemy series and Marvel ICON relaunch?

Can you give some of us Powers fans the inside dish if Det.Mack is going to reappear in Powersv2? I just reread that arc of powers and im still in stitches of giggles.

MG, who is drinking wayyyy to much coffee now.

Hi MG,
Look for the detective to make a cameo in an early issue of [Powers]
