interviews...
TUE, 6/1/04, 3:37 a.m.
While doing a search on Anh's Tranimals, I found this site which has a collection many of my interviews from 2003.
I don't know who put this together but it has several that cover varied topics if you are interested.
Is it Boom (the poster) from this board?

FRI, 6/4/04, 7:38 p.m. - In Response To: Kabuki Fans=--HELP!!!! (Murdocks
Girl)
Ok, so i did this lecture at my school back in april about
comic book heroines. I didn't mention Kabuki at the time because i was waiting on getting copies of it.
Now my lecture is getting published in a magazine, and i want to
include Kabuki into it. My problem is, that the Kabuki mythos is soooooooooooooooooo well, detailed I can't come up with a simple way of explaining it to non comic book fans.
any ideas?
MG
Hi MG, Glad to hear it is being published.
This site has a bunch of my interviews that describes the Kabuki series:

And some of these interviews may help in other areas of you presentation.
Also, I put a small simple synopsis of each story on the back of each
trade. You can read them at davidmack.net.
Re: David, will you ever do more Echo stories?
FRI, 6/4/04, 7:42 p.m. - In Response To: David, will you ever do more
Echo stories? (smokinghawk)
I'm very eager for more work like "Parts of a Hole," which
I think is your finest work ever. Will there be more Echo stories you illustrate?
If I'm asked to do more Echo, I probably will. But I'll be focussed on the Kabuki series for the foreseeable future.
If you liked the psychological and philosophical nature of the recent Echo story, I think you will enjoy the new Kabuki store. The Alchemy.
Thanks,
DM

still ran after the cat who ran after the mouse? is a web-site.

"epistolary"
Thanks, Seiko.
Can you be more specific about the "letter"?
The new Kabuki series is in many ways an epistolary.
Continuing in ways on the Akemi episolary in Skin Deep.
Re: Daredevil feature in my local paper
FRI, 6/4/04, 7:50 p.m. - In Response To: Daredevil feature in my local
paper (alice)
Not that this is like getting something in the New York
Post or anything, but I wanted to let you guys know that there was a feature
article in the Jonesboro (Arkansas) Sun today, and give you a link to the
top of the page. If you want to see the rest of the article, email me for
the address where I parked it.
So, now David Mack has garnered a mention in yet another local fishwrap
of a paper. Heh, heh...
I'll send you a copy, David. You can use it in the cat box as filler.
;-)
Alice
Congrats!
Looking forward to it!
