i just noticed that sometimes your spelling and grammar seems perfect on this message board, but at other times is...horrible. when you (DM) write messages to people on this
board, do you purposely misspell certain words depending on the person
you write the message to? and if so, what is the significance of this?
i Do'nt nkow wat yuo meen? Whet you talk abut? Me no mis spell. Me talk
pretty. See?

There was a study done recently, I forget where, that as
long as the first and last letters in a sentence were in correct order,
it doesn't matter how one spells the words.
Cchek tihs emxalpe, "Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at an Elingsh uinervtisy,
it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, olny taht the

Hello again,
Thanks for posting the links to your art!
I checked out your art links and I really like your work!
It has a lot of life to it and I enjoy the different media you used.
You have a very natural way of doing things that I try to have in my own
approach.
I appreciate how you explained the process part of your post. The noun
vs verb part. The object relation ship to the action of the object. I've
always thought that people put too much emphasis on the noun and not enough
on the verb. For instance, I've always thought of myself as a verb. Not
a noun. I'm not really about having or getting, but about being and doing.
As for art:
I do make some of it for sale. Most of the art I have for sale now
is currently in an art gallery. And it looks like it will be a traveling
art show. But I have some that I present for sale at conventions as well.
Generally, black and white pages start at 100 and the painted interior
pages start at 500 and can range up to1500 depending on the page. Anh Tran
at takes care of all the art sales for me. She already
has most of it marked and people can mention a page they are interested
in and she tells them if it is still available and what the price is.
I saw that you posted on the Bendis board as well! Thanks for the kind
words and the support of my work there. I've been posting a little there
lately as well. It is a fun board. Like this one! I think I have the smartest
readers!
Best,
David
That is the right info!

I don't know when it has been updated, but you can always send inquiries to Anh Tran:
Klaus
Thanks for the interest in the prints.
And thanks for posting this, Klaus.
Juse e-mail Anh and mention what you are looking for.
Re: new DD new Kabuki
FRI, 10/24/03, 2:55 a.m. - In Response To: new DD rocks thx David (aaron)
the story is very nice and I just think watercolor is sure
a great media to focus on in comics, instead of photoshop. feels so alive!
I hope you do the DD books from now on.
Thx a lot!
I'm just doing DD 51-55. I appreciate the regards.
After DD 55 ships in December the new Kabuki series is scheduled to begin in January. Then I am writing and painting the new Kabuki book for the foreseeable near future.
Best,
DM
