AND BUNNYZ RULE!
Wendy,
Thanks for getting one of Anh's creatures!
Anh, Andy Lee, and I had a great time in Toronto. All the readers and
artists at the Comic Art Fair were great.
And we visited the Beguiling (comic shop that hosted the fair) and
it was a great store.
Hope to visit again soon.
See you in Chicago.

& more (David Thornton)
Thanks for posting this!
We had a great time in France with Gabriele and his girlfriend. Looking
forward to having fun with them in France again next year. He is an amazing
artist from Itatly. I introduced his work to Joe and Bendis and he's currently
doing a secret Marvel project with Bendis.
He did some very cool Echo paintings for me, and for Christmas, he sent
me a drawing of Anh and I (Anh as Kabuki and I as DD) It was a stunning likeness.
Looking forward to seeing his work.
Below are excerpts from X-MenComics.com's
interview with artist Gabriele Dell'otto:
X-FAN: How did you first come to draw covers for Marvel Comics?
DELL'OTTO: In 2002, I met up with Kabuki creator and Daredevil artist
David Mack at the Festival of Angouleme [in France]. Really friendly guy!
David later introduced me to Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada and the
rest, as they say is history!
X-FAN: What would be your dream project to work on?
DELL'OTTO: Do you have to ask? Wolverine, of course! I'd love to
do a Wolverine original graphic novel! However, this is not the Marvel
project I mentioned earlier. David Mack did propose a Wolverine project
to Joe but no news on this yet... I hope Marvel approves it some day! I
can't wait to get my hands dirty on the ol' canucklehead!
Powers #30, which is the final chapter of the six-part storyline "The Sellouts" and features the character Detective Mack, has been pushed back to April 16 according to ImageComics.com.
Marvel posted a Flash-animated comic for the first issue of 411, which will feature artwork by David Mack.
Best,
David Thornton

Echo, DD, Kabuki...
WED, 4/9/03, 5:42 p.m. - In Response To: Noooo (boomboom)
As far as I know, the 5 part Echo story will begin in DD #51. Thanks
for looking forward to it. I'm very happy and satisfied with the new Echo
story I did.
I think Bendis and Maleeve are doing a great job on Daredevil. They will be back on DD right after my 5 parter. And the new Kabuki series will start right after my DD run starts.
Best,
DM
