I really appreciate you posting this here. Thanks very much for sharing this with me.
I'm very happy to hear that comics are something that you and your son enjoy together, and I'm touched to hear that the story I worked on had a personal significance to you. It was a very personal story for Brian and I to work on and it is always extremely encouraging when someone elso gets something from the work and can also relate to it on a personal level.

I go to the San Diego con every year, and would be happy to see you there. Please introduce yourself to me if we meet, and please remind me that you are the one who posted this message.
