Re: saw the half issue
WED, 11/7/01, 9:46 a.m. - In Response To: saw the half issue (Rae)
i went into a local comic shop by my house and saw that you released the half issue. I myself bought a copy of the same thing but released through wizzard. I was happy that it was out and i bought that copy too. I'm glad that people who coulden't perchase the wizzard copy can now get it because the art was really beautiful.
Hi Rae,

Thanks. Glad you picked up the 1/2.

Also i bought a copy of preveiws and saw that in january you will be releaseing a paperback of the daredevil: man withought fear series that you bendis and quesada did. I'm verry exited and ordered a copy.
Cool. I'm looking forward to it. The trade that I wrote was solicited. Sorry I didn't mention it on the board earlier. The trade that I painted should be solicited next.
I'm still waiting for All of my masks Kabuki through siamesse i am apauled that i havent even gotten the first one yet.
It does seem strange that you haven't seen the Kabuki or Scarab yet. These two have been released to stores. Did you order them through your store? They should at least be able to re-order the Scarab. The others still have not shipped yet. Snap Dragon will be the next offered in the Previews catalogue.
Also i saw that someone else was doing the covers for daredevil 29 i belive it was. So.... are you going to start on the tigerlilly series or are you going to another project?
I do want to begin the Tigerlily and new Kabuki story asap.
Are you going to be at wondercon this april? If you are will bendis be there too? by a longshot will quesada? anyways
I don't know about Bendis or Quesada. I really want to be there. But I called the person that runs Wonder Con and so far they did not have a specific date set for it. Usually it is in April. I am doing a convention in Australia and New Zealand next April. So as long as the WOndercon date does not conflict with that, I will indeed be there.

Thanks, and good to hear from you. Anh says hello!

hi Anh!!

Re: MACK and Andy Lee at NEW YORK Con THIS WEEKEND
WED, 11/7/01, 9:49 a.m. - In Response To: MACK and Andy Lee at NEW YORK Con THIS WEEKEND! (MACK!)

As always, we will have lots of trades, hardcovers, and back issues for sale at my table. I will be happy to sign as many books as you want to bring or any that you need to get from me. Also available are a wide selection of Kabuki and Daredevil prints, original artwork, Kabuki T-shirts, and more.

Andy Lee will have a lot of his art for sale, and will do commissions for you on the spot.

Mack and Andy Lee at Mid Ohio con THIS MONTH!
WED, 11/7/01, 9:54 a.m. - In Response To: Does ANDY LEE come by this board??? (Denny Haynes)

Hi Denny,

I noticed that you will be moderating the panel at Mid Ohio Con in which Andy and I will be speaking. Glad to have you join us! See you there.

For everyone else, the Mid Ohio Con is in Columbus the Sat and Sun after Thanksgiving!

Great show. Bendis and Oeming will also be there.

Hey Andy,

I doubt you remember me as you only meet thousands of people a year at the conventions, but I was at this year's Wizard World and you did a really cool Spider-Man for me. I showed you the Batman that you painted at Mid-Ohio from last year and it was cool to see you looking at it for the "first time" since you had done it, it was a really scary Batman - all my friends loved it.

I am wanting to contact him via e-mail (or if you can e-mail me) to ask him a question.

Thanks!

Re: so David, whats this I hear...
WED, 11/7/01, 10:35 a.m. - In Response To: so David, whats this I hear... (Rez the Angsty Penguin)
about you jumping over a table...do tell the story....
Well, I try to resist the urges when I'm in public now,

But sometimes after I eat, I get lots of happy energy and jump (or flip... or leap) over things, on things, off things, and generally around.

Re: kabuki's kitty cat clock?
WED, 11/7/01, 10:45 a.m. - In Response To: kabuki's kitty cat clock? (Anna)

Glad to hear that people lkie this idea. I have thought about it. I've spoken to a manufacturer about the idea. I'll let you know if it works out.

DM

Mr. Mack,

I was wondering (hoping) that there were plans in the future to make a replica of the kitty cat clock in skin deep and metamorphosis. I just love that clock and i think it would be pleasant to wake up to. So please let me know.

Your fan,
-Anna

Re: Will Daredevil come out in Hardcover too?
WED, 11/7/01, 5:02 p.m. - In Response To: Will Daredevil come out in Hardcover too? *NT* (Aska)

I hope so, but I really have no idea. I didn't know the paperback was released until someone on this board mentioned it.

Re: You wouldn't happen to have any pre kabuki wor
THU, 11/8/01, 5:54 p.m. - In Response To: You wouldn't happen to have any pre kabuki work .. (Daut Berisha)
You wouldn't happen to have any pre kabuki work ,would ya?
just asking.
-Daut
If you have a specific book in mind, let me know what you want and I can see if I have it and bring it just for you.

But aside from a special request, I don't bring any pre-Kabuki stuff to signings.
