that was easy to read yeah why was it that it was coming out nov8 now it is nov22
You wouldn't believe how much problem solving, extra phone calls, fed exes, faxes, examples, and other improvisions and triple checks it takes to insure that a book of this size and production value is printed as it is intended to be.

There is so much margin for error and as much as you eliminate that margin, new problems arise.

I think I sent the finished plan, dummy book, pagination sheet and new art to the color seperator in August.
After the proper approvals, it them made it to the printer in Canada.

After reshooting films that could not be found, sending examples of how to do certain printing techniques and embossments and reapproving the placement of pages and solving new problems and mis-comunications that arrive, I think it is now finally on the printing press

Re: Why art in previews is not in Scarab?
MON, 11/6/00, 7:14 a.m. - In Response To: Why art in previews is not in Scarab? (Butchy Stubbs)
I really liked the new Scarab issue but I was disappointed to find that some of the art images that I really like in the previews ad weren't in the actual comic. I noticed this happens a lot and was wondering if the art is going to show up eventually in another issue of scarab or is the art changed at the last minute or what the reason is for this?

Thanks

Hey friends,

Some of the and pages have been switched around, redone or recut to best fit some of the new directions in the order the story is told in. I love thos pages too though, and I assure you that you will see the complete story, and for the pages that have been redone or did not make it into the final cut of the Scarab series, we will put them into the Scarab Artbook.

I also love the idea (from Rick's above post) that we include his illustrated adventures from Japan in the Art book.
