Good.
Did we meet in Portland at the con?
You changed your name so many times I lost track of who you were

Well I hugged Brian after Charlize Theron hugged him.

he was lurking last night.
you guys really made his day.
I wouldn't be surprised if he posted here sometime.
Brian introduced me to him in San Diego and he is a super good guy.
Very warm and charming.
I hope to see him in SD again this year.
A really sweet guy.
Is anyone here a doctor?

HaHa!
I just realized how funny it was that I was about to ask for medical
advice on this message board!

I didn't click to listen to the call, but based on your description
here, I think I have met this person at the Portland con a couple years
back.
I'm pretty sure I know who this is and that description is very similar
to things he used to say.

I totally remember him.
Is it really so weird that he would stand out?
He would talk pretty normal and sparsly and nice to me.
But he would tell Anh all kinds of stories about how people are out
to get him.
I liked him and he seems really nice. Just a little paranoid without
the proper medication.
But a nice enough fellow based on his actions with me.
And he obviously has good taste in art
He's definitely my demographic

All of you did make me chuckle.
You know that pulling down your pants and coughing thing works.
I feel much better now.
How long do I stay like this?

Thanks all!
I appreciate the comedy and goodwill.
I went to the doc today and got the scoop.
Apparently I pulled a groin muscle and a rib muscle playing basketball
and tackle football with the neighborhood kids. I was concerned that it
was a broken rib which I had a few years back.
So everything is fine and mending well, but I'm going to lay off of
the breakdancing and my other special olympics until I heal up.

Yo Valter!
I just checked out your blog!
http://myguerrillaoutfit.blogspot.com
That is great!
Your baby is very beautiful.
You must be so happy!
And I really like the artwork you have there.
The sumi ink piece is very cool and I like all the different experimentation
you are doing.
And I really appreciate the portrait you did of me!
That is definitley one of my favorite pieces I've seen anyone paint
of me!
It really captures something and is very EXPRESSIVE which I really
like.
Thanks pal.
I respect your RN cred!

Thanks Yano!
I'm thinking to retire the madness dancing and just do the Tango from
now on. Or I'm in more of a classical ballet mood these days.
The "Freestyle Ballet dance off" is what I'm looking forward to this
year.

Re: American comics in Japan??

There is a shop in Kyoto that had a limited selection the last time
I was there.
I think it was called "Big Boss"
Or "Boss" comics.
Something like that.
A couple blocks from Kyoto Tower.
And there are collected trades in a lot of the bookstores you find in
malls.

I'm going to look at it to check out May's new work as well.
There is some news and links about it on the recent news at davidmackguide.com.
If anyone is new to May's work, check out is Scarab story. The Volume 6 of Kabuki. Shows a tour de force of his range and style.
