Thanks so much!
And good to see you in Chicago!
Best,
David

Hey John!
Thanks so much for the great review to this!
I really appreciate it!
I intend to print some of this in a future Kabuki letters collumn from the new series if that is ok with you.

I'm so glad you liked all the Kabuki books that you picked up!
Let me know what you think of the SCARAB volume when you get a chance to read it! Your going to get a kick of how it fits with the others

I had a blast at the Toronto show!
Also at the Dragon con which I signed at the following weekend! It has been an amazing year of work and travels.

And I've read some of the threads here while I was gone, and the lovely responses on this thread
And I'd like to thank you all for the...
For them

I really appreciate it

It was a delight to meet you and your friends!
The School girl outfits were incredible
You were very lovely.

Thanks for picking up the books:)

I want to really thank you for those. We didn't go this time, cause Andy and everyone was so busy with work.
But I stashed the passes at Andy's place, and I hope for us to go there when I'm in town again.
I think Andy and I have been there once before when he took me there to have dinner! It was a good dinner

I will definitley ask for Jezabelle!

Is she a friend of yours? Does she know you told me to ask for her?

There was a moment that caught my eye when some girl's skirt went up. Was that your doing?

Well, Anh sort of appreciates the ladies...

Thanks for the info and hook ups!

Re: MACK Daredevil hardcover?
Sep 11, 2004 2:55 pm

Yeah,
I guess that's true

If you continue to post about it, or request it on the Joe Q boards or e-mail the editors involved, that may help get it back on an immediate schedule.

I SOOOOO want to see a hardcover collecting both Wake Up and Echo.
Vary happy with the range and contrast of these 2 stories.

And Bendis can do some commentary in it, and we can put some sketches and other extras in it as well.

I remember you!
It was a delight to meet you.
I'm very glad that you like my books. And about the rocking of socks.
And you smell really good too

Glad to hear that!
#2 will be in stores soon. A week or 2?
It's going to be fun.
Rangerchic has a letter in it. So does Goodman.

I'm really enjoying this new Kabuki series. It is definitley new territory from any of the others.

Thanks! That's a pretty good way to characterize it. I'll clip that and squeeze it into an upcoming issues letters collumn

Glad you are getting the trades too!
Let me know what you think of them.

Hey Chef,
What you said here is a lot of what the new KABUKI ALchemy story is about. I think you'll get a kick out of it.

Good to see you in Atlanta.
Thanks for reading Circle of Blood!

Re: Baltimore con folks
Sep 13, 2004 3:50 am
We can try to top it next year

Anyone here see Andy Lee at the con? How was he doing? Did you see our friend Andrea Grant with him?

I'll try to go next year if I have time.

Re: Neil Gaiman: Reading/Signing @ Dreamhaven in Mpls...
Sep 14, 2004 3:52 am

Hi Taki,
Thanks for the kind words you said about me on another thread.

Please tell Neil that I say hello.

I had dinner with him last year when he came to my area to do an event at the University that I graduated from (NKU).
Then we went to the University and he did the speaking, and reading and signing and it was very nice. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Let us know how it goes.

Some Kabuki stuff Anh Tran has on ebay...

In case anyone is missing any of these, she has them signed.

Re: The WINNERS of the Bendis Board Awards!
Sep 14, 2004 10:09 pm

Very cool banners you made!

Like Oeming, Bendis and all the other creators, i'm happy to be a part of it.

Thanks for the love, and I promise to lower taxes.

And was nice of Millar to vote for me.
Though in real life, he and Oeming are more approachable.

Where's Murdock's Girl?
Sep 14, 2004 10:15 pm

I know I've been out of town a lot and not on the board as much, but since Chicago, Ihave not seen her here as often.

I still see Diana's posts here but seemingly not as much. But all this could be because I'm just tuning in at an off time and missing the hightlights.

I seem to recognize everyone else's posts more since I met you in Chicago, (now I remember your face and name with your posts) but I seem to see MG and Diana less.

Let me know if I missed something.

it's been great meeting you all at the cons.

Re: WHA...HUH?
Sep 14, 2004 10:23 pm

That was amazing! I have that original page of Oeming art with Kabuki and Deena and Walker.
With him "Just doing Kabuki"

I'm planning a sort of unnannounced powers appearance in an upcoming issue of Kabuki (or two).

reminder that Kabuki 2 & 3 also to include Bendis Kabuki
Sep 14, 2004 10:29 pm

Like in KABUKI: Alchemy #1...
Kabuki 2 and 3 continue to inlcude the never before published Kabuki art from Brian Bendis from way back in 1993 when he was going to draw KABUKI: Circle of Blood.

Also a couple of you are in the letters collumns.

Oh yeah, and there is also a new story that I write and paint

Re: I recommended Kabuki to a library
Sep 15, 2004 6:34 pm

I'll see you at Mid Ohio COn!

In the meantime, you might just try asking them to order Kabuki for the library. That might motivate them to do it.

And I really appreciate the Kabuki suggestions to the libraries!

Whenever I stop at a library in person, I donate a couple sets of Kabuki to the library.
And they can order any of the books through their regular channells at any time.

As a kid, I spent a lot of time at the libarary and it was a great resource to me for learning about new things.
Really glad to hear about Kabuki getting into more libraries!

Thanks!
