Yay MG!
Thanks for all the ordering of the books as gifts for your friends!
That is great!
I really appreciate it.
I look forward to meeting you in Chicago and will be happy to sketch

Pittsburgh was GREAT!
Thanks for all of those from this board who dropped by.
The con even made a Kabuki cake for the 10th year anniversary of Kabuki and brought it to my panel and then to my table where I cut cake and served it to everyone.
It was a great con. All 3 days!
And they raised a lot of money at the art auction for the Make a Wish
Foundation.
I donated a Daredevil painted page that DD reader and art collector Paul Ragsdale from the Kabuki board won at the auction.

Jim,
Thanks for the feedback on Circle of Blood. I appreciate the Swampthing level of excitement comparison.
Really glad you dug the first and are looking forward to the rest. I
believe it gets a lot better as it goes!

Twocool,
Thanks for ordering the books ahead of time!!!
Very glad you liked the Edge story. And that you showed it to Sandman.
I'm looking forward to doing a large format book of stories like that
Self Portrait story.
MG,
Thanks for mentioning it. And Who Cares' wallpaper IS very cool. I
checked them all out
Will see you at Chicago. Who else is going?
I'll be a Motor City con next.
Any one here going to it?

Very happy to hear about why you like Kabuki and that it inspires you.
Looking forward to meeting more of you at the upcoming conventions...
Re: Who here has had sex with someone in exchange for money?

A close friend of mine ran an escort service in Atlanta and 2 other
very close friends of mine worked as drivers (like Mel Gibson in Payback).
They always drove the girl escorts. And one time thier was a call from
a woman who asked for a "non-gay male escort'. They didn't have any working
that night, so my driver friend was asked to have his girl drive him so
he could service this female caller.
He did it a couple of different times when they needed him. He said
he was paid $250 for an hour and that the lady was a very attractive professional
editor for a publishing house. He gave her a massage, and she gave him
oral, then the works, and the money.
He said he really enjoyed it and liked her, but he was so nervous that
he vomited before and after.
Re: Remember when you were a kid and $10 at the comic store.

Hey Pirate,
Just a bit of a correction to add. Diamond doesn't pay the publishing
company half. The publisher gets far less than that. The stores buy the
book from Diamond for half of cover price.
So Diamond and the publisher both get their cut from that half that
the retailer buys the book for.

Ronin,
That's a great idea. I'll try to get prints made of that one. So I
hope to have it at all the next cons this year.
MG,
I already have prints of the 53 cover and the other Echo covers
Man, the Pittsburgh con was great. Still thinking of how fun it was.
Rene and Michael George who run it are really great people. They have a
store in Pittsburgh as well. If anyone here goes to that store, please
give them my regards.

I am looking forward to it.
There is a panel in it with Me, Anh Tran, and Andy Lee as robots!
And I love robots.
And that Johnson cover looks great!
I've seen some sneaks of this from Ivan and Andy. And the art by Andy
McDonald is very cool.
