Re: Embarrassing Comic Experiences? (Post Your Own)

When I was a kid, around 9, my brother and I slept on bunk beds and kept our collection of comics in a box right by our beds. One night my brother got sick and threw up right into the box of our stack of comics.
In the morning I was disturbed to see the layer of vomit all over our stack of books. But no way did I consider throwing them away. I cleaned off each one and dried it out, and put them back in the box where we continued to read them for years.

Hey Chris S! I recognize your stuff! The self port is great! Looking forward to seeing you in Portland this year.

Good to see so much great art from everyone here.

And Wastral.

Your work is really good. Especially if you did this stuff at 20-22 yrs old. If you want to have a carreer in comics or the artfield, you have all the natural ability you need. I'm sure you will find job oppertunities at the SD con.

Best,
David Mack

On the other hand, Tony Solomon also posts on my board regularly, and he has always been friendly and polite on my board.

As a matter of fact, I recieved a letter from him today, that included photos he took of Anh and I when we signed in Australia.

Hey Papercuts!

I'm flattered and grateful.
But my girlfriend forbids me to wear or own a shirt that says "just do Joe Quesada".
